Default 1997 Cobra Heater Core Replacement

This is my first post here. I currently own a 1997 Cobra with 140,000 miles on it pretty much all highway miles. The car is in mint condition. I am the original owner. My heater core is on the way out. I need to replace it. I know it is going to be a huge job to do. I was just wondering if there was any information,Shortcuts, secrets. Anything that would make this job some what easier to do.

Thanks for your help

Mike

Im sorry to be the one to tell you this, but for a heater core change there are no shortcuts.I still have to change mine out ive been putting it off for quite a while lol.I might change my heater out tomorrow if I have time. If I do change it tomorrow ill write a guide so you dont waste money on a haynes or chilton.
