Default Bump when shifting

Just got a 03 cobra with 44,000 miles on it, great condition, 3.10 pulley and catback exhaust already on it, only thing wrong is that when i, or anyone else, shifts it, theres a slight bump, feels like its in the rear, i cant feel it through the shifter or anything, any ideas what could cause this?

That is your IRS

Usually cobras with more miles on them will have a differential that has a little give. Usually the clutch engaging causes that clunk. Pretty normal, Cobra's make a lot of noise.

alright heres my cobra and my dads 07 cal special gt
since this pic i've fixed the front bumper chips, put on a sweet cobra front liscence plate, the catback is magnaflow and it has a blower belt tension pulley thats it.
i plan to add a cold air intake, tune, and a 2.8 pulley maybe some headers

Very nice. Can't wait to see more. Don't worry too much about that clunk. I have the same problem in my 01. Had it for 5 months now and no performance change.

i was thinking something along the lines of these headers, but they're last on my last of upgrade

http://www.brothersperformance.com/c...oducts_id/2503

definitely going to do air intake, jlt or BBK
tuner, sct livewire is what im leaning toward
and a smaller pulley

but im currently broke as a joke and will be making nice big car payments so it might be awhile before i get it all done, not to mention way down the road there might be a big ole kb blower

If you do headers, go with KOOKS... Don't cheap out with your car.
