Default reliability of 04 cobra motor?

alright so here is the deal...i have an 04 GT with an 04 cobra motor in it..motor has about 20k miles on it..all the mods should be in my sig...the dilema is right now i live in AZ but moving back to MD (40hour trip) in mid jan....i dont mind driving because me and my roomate drove a 16ft penske truck out there but do u think it would be smart to drive back or have it shipped back...the cost should be around 600for gas and then of course in case something goes wrong....if i dont do that then a plane ticket will be prob 200ish for a ticket and 1k to get my car shipped cause i had it shipped to az...so u think i shoud save money at the moment and drive back and risk something goin wrong or just spend the extra $$ and have it shipped back

the 03/04 cobra motors have been put through extreme torture test i would never ever put any car though, and passed, you will have ny problem making this drive let alone making it redlining every gear doing 140 in the interstate.

what part of MD you headed to?

The motor will be good.

The only thing I'd worry about is driving at really high speeds for too long. Either the Trans would eventually melt, lol, or the engine would go up due to extreme heat from the Heaton.

I daily drive my cobra, and not a single problem has ever come. I don't beat the **** out of it, but it does see a few red-lines here and there.

Besides unwanted miles, It'll make it.

I lol'd when you said packing things in it. Good Luck!
