I would go with the Synchromax. The max ATF ( Automatic Transmition Fluid ) is a multi purpose fluid also used in auto trans. Our trans. all call for some sort of Synchromesh fluid. After just changing my fluid I'm only going with Royal Purple. Factory fluid cost me $16 a quart and thats after my 30% discount from my job.

 

Just to make it clear....My trans. has a big Sticker "Dexton III ATF Only" ....

 

I just went back and reread the sights to make sure. The Synchromax is for trannies specifing the ATF's it is just going to be better for the operating temps. and the shifting etc.

 

I used B&M Trick Shift Fully Synthetic AT Fluid.

 

i use royal purple on both my gt and cobra. works great.

 

Which one did you use: Max ATF or Synchromax? ....thanks!

Called AM today...I'm returning the RP Max ATF for the RP Synchromax! ...thanks again for all your help & input!
