It does not matter if your car will see rain or snow. There will be condensation that will build up inside the headers that will result in them rusting from the inside out.

you guys are slowly convincing me to just save up the money.. even though its alot, but i'd kinda rather put it towards a KB before spending that much on exhaust

+1, get the Kenne Bell first. You will see close to ZERO gain, with headers on an Eaton Cobra...

I 2nd that get the kb first. You will have way more fun with it. Save the headers for later or buy a cheaper set thats equal length if you dont want to spend the money. Just my two cents.

so saying i got the kb 2.6 and was making 650 rwhp, which seems to be pretty easily obtained with one, about what will that be in 1/4 mile somewhere in the 11's right?

good luck stripping you halfshafts at launch. The KB is worth it, but you gotta get the IRS done correctly, that is if you still have it.

yeah thats why i said 11's ill be babying it off the line till i get $ for good halfshafts and IRS work, i wouldnt think theyd break if you baby it off the line or do roll races.

they will snap with slick launches. 11's should be possible.
