Rear tire width?

Default Rear tire width?
Does anybody know the widest tire I can put on my 97 cobra? I have 275's but I want to go wider. I have heard that any bigger than 305's you have to roll the fenders... is there any truth in this?

hey blownsvt were the rear fenders made different on the 03 04 vs the 99 01...cause i got me some 10.5 rims and i just wonder how tight it will be and any diff to 03 04...yes i did get the small irs bolts

The fattest that I'd go is 295 on that size rim...

i say 295 i have 285 on my stock 17.8 and it looks alittle stupid and not all the tread is being used either

you could put a 315 nitto on those no problem. i have some 315 nittos on a 9" rim just fine. they seem to run narrow though

as far as i know the wheel wells are identical .
