03- 04 supercharged with eaton forged rods and pistons and the T-56 tranny is stronger than the 01....there is a world of difference between gt and cobra you name it its prolly different

btw my 01 in dec of last year cost 13k at 47k miles and in perfect condition...of course times have changed since then and the value has dropped alittle

my uncle just bought an 03 cobra for 14k with 88k on it so they can be found for cheap but they will have a few miles on them

alright i found a few sites that clearly explained to me the cobra/GT are totally different with the most common thing being 4v/2v. Now you told me that info on the 03-04 and that's all i want. i need more money!

awesome car... i literally pushed mine out of the showroom (couldnt start it indoors) 6 years ago, and i havent regreted it yet. i have no intention of replacing it.

and i only have 22k on mine

I've seen some termis for 15k under 100k miles. TBH, you might want to go ahead and spend a little extra money, because I'm sure the termis will appreciate over time.

along with 4v and 2v goes cams, cobras are dohc (2 cams in each head) 4 total

while GTs and about every other model (besides mach 1s) until 05 was a sohc 2v the 05+s (s197s) are 3v sohc. (2 cams, 1 in each heaD)

Yea man go with a cobra, even if its a couple yrs older than the GT. My main point is a 2001 Cobra has 320 horses, where as something like the 2010 GT is only going to have 315 horses. Obviously you would be saving a load of money as well.
