so.. my first two upgrades are going to be CAI and SCT x3, my problems are that my cars powerband isn't linear due to the higher boost and lack of tune, it also runs rich as a ****, so would a canned or e-mail tune help this? or should i just get them both and hit the dyno? ill be dynoing when i get this stuff and 2.76 pulley anyway. suggestions?

 

Just get both and get a dyno tune. When you put the pulley on stay out of boost well you drive to your tuner.

 

yeah, thats pretty much the current plan i was just curious if a canned tune would do anything to help it out till then

 

do you have the pulley tool? cause its like 140 and your mechanic probably only charges like 50 bucks, just have him put it on and tune it at the same time.

btw.. 2.76? thats not the motoblue one from rpmoutlet is it? i just ask cause theres not alot of people that make the 2.76..i TRIED that one too, never seen a pulley disenergrate before.... now i have haha.
it lasted about 150ft under boost.

 

...I'm running a JLT CAI with a canned SCT xCal2 with a BF 2.93" pulley...I do have a 2.76" an I'm thinking about swaping when I get the Cobra tuned!

 

nothing wrong with the 2.76, i think billetflow makes one.
im just saying to stay away from MotoBlue products and Rpmoutlet all together
