I have a 2001 Mustang Cobra that I have been building back for the past 2 years it is a theft recovery I have replaced alot of stuff (speedometer, steering column ignition, computer). Now the car won't start so I tow it to ford and had the keys-and computer flashed but it isn't resetting. It cranks but will not start. Can anyone help me?

 

Been there done that. If everything is done correctly which I am assuming it is, then tow her down to a dyno tuner and get a custom tune disabling The PASSIVE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM. I hope this helps ; ) best of luck

 

Thanks for the info.....Ford solved it after spending a little cash. It was some piece they had to change around the ignition that didn't match my security stuff becuz I ordered the steering column from ebay and it was for a GT and no one told me I had to buy that replacement transfer cable so that my cobra would see it as a cobra and not a gt. It was almost a mess but Ford got her runnning! Thanks again.
