well ya i read that story from the guy on SVTP that was horrible but still is a good product for the most part now i know ppl will argue that but i love whipples too i would prolly take a whipple over a KB if i had 03 04
KB made it right with and and because of all the trouble they gave him KB 2.8H free of charge. Thats highest one they make.
yes i was pumped for the KB.. lets see how patient i can be for the 2.9 whipple, if they actually annonced a release date, it would be different, they're in the R&D stage right now, but how long will it take for them to get the bugs out, i dont want the 2.3(even though its proven)... the money is burning a hole in my pocket so i might just say eff it and go KB
I think i've gotten to the bottom of this whipple & KB stuff - check out this quote from svtperf.
"KB does so much testing and development that I can't imagine doing anything else (maybe turbo, if you want to spend even more).
As an example, the original whipple 3.4 crusher inlet would not even clear the stock 4.6 dohc valve covers!!! The only way this could have happened was if whipple never bolted one on a cobra!! Can you imagine buying a product that was never even tested on your car -- makes no sense."
