Just say no to canned tunes for your Cobra.
On any car with a power adder I would NOT do a canned tune. Some are ok, but you're leaving it up to chance way to much. Plus, I have heard HORRID things about American Muscle tunes anyhow... I wouldn't drive with it on my car.. just pay someone to tune your car properly. Pay now, or pay more later; your choice.
You can't afford to be cheap with your Terminator. If you can't afford for a custom tune, wait and save up; don't do anything stupid.

im going to get a dyno tune just not till i get my CAI and non catted h-pipe, i would think this tune would be better than my stock one, if not im going to data log and make small adjustments myself
nope i havnt used it yet, it just shipped today, but it runs pretty bad at WOT and the powerband is not linear, you can feel it when pulling through 3rd and 4th. I've made it a point not to get down on it very often cause of that
heh that I am, i just dont see how a tune meant to compensate for my mods could be worse than the stock tune, unless they let monkeys make them, the sf3 comes with preloaded tunes while the x3 doesn't, other than that they are exactly the same, you can always add custom tunes to either though
Because the canned tunes aren't for your car. They're for a car that has thje mods you do... but a lot of things determine a tune which they cant replicate.... like weather.. not to mention all the Cobras are different and they react different the other ones.
It's better just to not be cheap and actually pay someone to tune your car the right way. It's not that expensive typically.
EDIT: understand those "pre loaded" tunes are ones that are made by American Muscle and historically they're not even good tuners. Brenspeed is a good canned tune, but i would still NEVER do a canned tune on a car with a power adder. They're just never the same from car to car.

I see where your coming from and totally understand, but do you think it will be WORSE than the stock tune its on now? If its gonna be bad I'll just have to keep my foot out of it until i get my CAI and other little mods and a dyno tune
