Default Tire buying time!

Ok I have a 03 Cobra with the mods listed below. About 500hp to the wheels. Now am I better off with the new 315/35/17 Nitto NT05's, 315/35/17 Nitto 555R's, or 255/50/17 Nitto Invos? (Please dont list any other type of tire, im set on one of those three after research). I use the car everyday wet, dry, cold and hot weather. Summer is coming up so it would be more for hot weather and also I need inspection in 4 months so I need the tire to keep good tread until then so I pass. Right now I'm liking the NT05's cause all I'm hearing is good things bout them. Any advice?

First off do you drive this car in snow? and second how big is your rear rim 17x9? or do you got 17x10.5s?

i second his question and nt 01's are great for dry warm weather...its a very soft tread with not to many groves to expell water...the 555's are also a soft rubber but do really good in rain...lastly cold weather and snow with any of those nittos will be imposible...i live in ohio and i am living proof to cold weather and not even an 1/8th of an in and i was going sideways down the road tryin to take it to my other garage.

get the nitto DR's out back. The last pretty long as long as you dont go around laying patches everywhere.

The Nitto Drags will be the anything that'll work out of what you mentioned with your power. They can last anywhere from 10-14 months depending on you.

I had my Nitto Drags that were done after 10-11 months... My Cobra saw about a dozen track runs per set. Good luck.

no by drags do you mean the 555r's or the NT05's? because according to the nitto site, the nt05's actually have more traction in both wet and dry weather but its nite as quite or smooth riding

Nitto 555R Drag radial ... i cant see the NT01 having better traction then the radial.. i hadn't heard great things about them either.. i know from experiance that i can cut 1.6-1.7 60" with 500rwhp on a 555r d/r
