Is this a good deal? 03 cobra
Hey guys, been out of the scene for a while. I have owned both a terminator, and a gt500 in the past, and was thinking of picking up this 03 cobra. The guy is asking 15900, but it has 14x,xxx miles. Obviosly highway, but none the less. Here's the link. I think I may get him to 14k. Please, be brutally honest, and thanks in advance.

I say no. I had found a 03 cobra a couple months back that had 36,xxx and they were asking $18,500. I had found it on cars.com(maybe autotader). I almost bought it but didnt. have my hands full the way it is now.

Now why in the hell would you want a car with so many miles on it? Find something lower, I found my car 11 months ago with only 12,500 on the clock. It still even had the plastic on the seats, floor mats and steering wheel. Came with all the orig svt paper work and certificate. Good deals are out there, dont impulse buy.

Ok you want honesty, that car is worth practically nothing, maybe 5-7k. Its about time for reality to check in. The car is damn near 7 years old, and two generations behind. Not to mention that in a dealer world anything with over 100k miles just about worthless. I think it would be ok if you got for 8-10k, depending upon condition... maybe 11-12k if your just hell bent on it, but realize that your not going to get your money out of it, so if you buy it... buy it for you and buy it at price you can live with, and say you know what - I got it cheap and when **** breaks im going to fix it, and im not going to be delusional into thinking its valuable... im just going to drive the **** out it and enjoy it to no end.
Thats how I think about cars nowadays... if its a daily driver, you can buy it new, you can buy it used, but in the end its not going to be worth anything, so why not skip a step, save some money, stress and BS'n yourself... and buy a car you dont worry about and truly enjoy
