Default Cobra Exhaust

What exhaust sounds best on the cobras? I want a nice deep muscle car tone. Their is an o/r x pipe on the car right now and im looking into getting a new cat-back. Ive heard that bassani, and magnaflow are a little raspy and im not a a huge fan of JBA or SLP. I already had flowmasters on my last mustang so i want to switch it up. I was think about getting either a mac cat-back or borla xr-1 racing mufflers. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Mike

the Mac's gonna give you the deepest tone out of what you listed, otherwise perhaps a magnaflow.... basically anything thats chambered.

your o/r x isnt helping with the raspy sound though.

If you want the muscle car rumble switch the X for an H and go with a chambered muffler like a MAC.

Ive heard some videos of the mac with x pipe and it sounded pretty good. But the borla xr-1s and x pipe sound awesome too.

Also, does flowmaster and mac sound similar? I want to switch up the sound from the flowmasters but dont want it to be raspy.

magnaflow FTW I have it and my dad has it on his car, they sound great, only problem is I want it to be louder, so im about to order the O/R H from mac, because its deeper and not as raspy as the O/R X. thats my 2 cents, it sounds like were after the same sound

well I'd go with a magnaflow catback, if that isnt enough you can always add an O/R H to it, or an H with high flow cats

not sure if u did anything yet but i like the reg magnaflows bc the magnaflow magnapak have more rasp to them. Im more into the mufflers then turn downs. personally i think its the best sound on a stang. plus its cheaper goin this route too and usually any o/r x-pipe with catback have a rasp so switch for h-pipe to fix that problem. just my .02 and experience from events, car shows, ffw and nmra events.
