you'll need spacers, with the 2.25 backspacing, i'd guess that the spacer would need to be 3/4" to clear the brakes

this is something I've been looking into myself...I think Weld also makes a 17" wheel...I need to get rid of that front end weight for the track!

i run welds. you need a spacer. I am running a pretty large one up front to clear the brakes. the rears barely clear on my car but they clear. i am running 15x3 up front with a 1.5" back space.

They do make a 17" alumistar front runner. When i got my welds there was a wait on them and they wanted around 400 per wheel i think it was. The 15" prostars were 135 each so for how little i use them i went that route.

With the wheel spaces, did you have to get longer studs or anything??

yes, the studs should be the standard length + your spacer thickness.

i have a hubcentric spacer with integrated studs. it bolts to the regular studs then has a seperate set that go through the wheel. I did change those out for 3" studs in the space to make it easier to get the shanked lug nuts on for the welds.
