hi guys,

i'm having a problem with my o2 sensors. i have a 2003 mustang cobra and i did the aftermarket off road h-pipe. i used the dummy sensors that trick the computer into thinking there no faults but the cel (check engine light) keeps coming on even after i reset the computer either by using the scanner or disconnecting the negative terminal for 10 minutes or longer.

i'm throwing 2 trouble codes p0135 and p0155 (which are bank 1, sensor 1 and bank 2, sensor 1)

both sensor 1's are the ones closest to the engine at the end of the header, right???

also, the codes say 02 heater circuit. even though it says heater circuit, they're still the sensors or am i overlooking something?

my mil eliminators didn't work when I had my "cats" removed. I had to get a sct tune and have them turned off(rears)

 

I have the same problem with mine. Even though I clear it with my tuner it still comes on. I talked to my buddy who has also been a mechanic for 30 yrs. and he told me no matter what if we don't have the cats the code will always be thrown.

 

did you ever get this figured out? my car is throwing the same ones...
