Default Muffler ???

Well I know this should probably be in the pipes, boost and juice section but I want opinions fromt he SVT guys. I know while not much difference a 4v still sounds a bit different from the 2v. So I have JBA shorty headers, Dr. Gas o/r x and a Bassani catback. Its really loud and agressive but I want louder. I saw a you tube video of a guy who put 1 chamber flowmasters on his 97 Cobra and it was insane. My car has mild street cams and lopes pretty nicely. If I went with 1 chambers and either dumped them off the muffler or even kept them straight out the back how do you think it will sound???

I would do the 1-chamber flow's with dumps. This way you won't get the raspy sound of it noise bounching around in the tail pipes. You also don't have bumper cut outs like how the newer style have so ur car will look fine with dumps.

I think Ill stay away from just straight pipes. I have always liked the sound of a car dumped. I had a fox body where I dumped the mufflers and it sounded awesome. Im just worried 1 chambers will lose all tone and sound like butt, extremely loud butt.

The vid is with the 1 chambers??? Im really thinking I want to put them on my car. I may not have the fastest car but I will have the loudest. I was the same way with my fox body and scared off a Camaro once. If he only knew I had just the exhaust done on that fox. Haha thanks MFJ

I'd check out some Borla XR-1 Mufflers also!
