Ok here is the deal. The motor in my 01 Cobra started knocking. So I broke down and ordered a 5.1L forged Stroker motor ALuminum of course. 11.2-1 compression and rings gaps set for a 150 shot of nitrous. The heads are getting completely redone, I mean everything as well as a small amount of porting.

I am wondering what cams should I get here? I am sticking with stock ecu and a dyno tune. I want a noticable lumpy idle and as much power as possible, but it still needs to be a Daily Driver if I want it to be. I was looking at 232 duration all around, but I know nothing about these cams or motors.

Also what kind of HP do you think I will make with this motor?

Check out my NEW line of CMS 4V grinds. My 2V stuff is sooo popular that i've had many many requests for 4V and 3V stuff. The 4V stuff is done and available...the 3V stuff is being finished up. I would look at the CMS 4V Stage 2 N/A grind...just about perfect for you. Stage 3's might be a little much for you. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

Ford GT Cams offer great power increases and can be bought for $500... Lift on those cams are around 460... Stock is 390

I've never ran the 3.4 with stock cams, and I was never on a real tune to begin with... hehe
