+1 plenty of dyno proof to back this up. Just like your exhaust....until your engine can push your TB/plenum to its full capability its a waste of money.

another ? about lt's do they drastically change the sound of your car? and about how many horses am i looking at
Longtubes will make your car louder and deeper. Usually with full exhaust like Catback, Mid-Pipe & Longtubes you usually gain about 25-35hp. What brand longtubes are you looking at getting?

You might not gain much in power form from them just yet, but you will notice a increase in throttle response and your rpm's will climb smoother.

headers + midpipe, if you eventually want a s/c, or cams or something you'll already have good supporting mods in place

i do want to supercharge but it is more than likely going to happen later rather than sooner so until then i would like to get the supporting mods done, any other good ones within my budget?

Well you can get cams for right around ~$1200, if you can do the work yourself i'd get yourself some cams, valvesprings will run you another $380 or so if u want to run an agressive set of cams. IF you can do the work yourself or with friends for beer or free do cams, otherwise go LTs, 4v labor isn't cheap.

The sixxer is a push-rod engine, Cobra is the new game, modular engine....I'm not sure I'd even touch mine!

^ you can try to slip it past the k member and the tranny but its not easy, its alot easier to drop the k member or lift your engine 5 inches or so.

LTs FTW TORQUE!
