Default traction?

How much will switching from a street tire to the Nitto DR help my traction? I am looking to get more to the ground without spinning and that seems to be all I do. 4.10 gears and added HP sucks sometimes haha. Also I was looking at suspension items, but am not really savvy on this. I have long tubes so I don't want to lower the car but I'm sure a better suspension would help me plant better. Please help, need to know what to get for this.

start with the DR's... that will show you your weak points in the suspension, if it still spins, you gotta get some marshmellow springs back there.

depending on which way you want to go with the car, drag or autox... the suspension that will help you launch cant corner worth shizz.

I am more into straight line performance. I have already hit the headers slightly on a speed bump so no drop for me haha. The DRs look pretty nice and I kinda figured 315s should probably get a decent grip. The tires I got now are kinda shi* anyway so I was looking at that being my next upgrade.

I just got my car tuned and put down 307 at the wheel. I know it's not like all you Termi owners. haha But I also have just the 555's on a 255/50/17 with 4:10's. I dont launch but just roll first gear a tiny chirp in second and thats it. Those nittos are amazing. I also have the H&R race springs which really help the rearend sink.

If you use your car more on the street I would go with the Nitto NT05 over the DR's.

why would you want a soft rear spring? You don't want the rear end to squat, this is why drag racers either run negative pinion angle, an anti squat bar, an air bag, or a combo of any of those. I chose to go loose up front and stiff and back (with -2.5* pinion andle) and I 60' on my 17" nittos better than most people around.
