Question 98 svt question

im probably beating a dead horse here, but what are the best bolt ons for a 98 cobra svt with 83k miles, got shorties and flowmaster w/o cats. i only know what works for a 5.0. i want to copy my friends set up somewhat. he has a notch dss block 331 stroker wit heads .550 cam and a 10psi vortech 42lbs and 90mm maf and whole bunch of other stuff. what heads are good for the 4.6? stroker kits, cams. etc. which is better for these cars, roots style or centrifical (sp). im not up to par with my ford know how.

Well heads/cams and superchargers arent exactly your basic bolt ons.. As far as heads, its going to cost you a fortune for anything... If you are tryna do big things.... a nice set of cams and short runner intake/IMRC delete would be good. Match that with a JLT RAI... Then toss some 4.10s out back and some underdrive pulleys. That should make the car run pretty strong.

I say go with 4.10's, nitrous & tune. After them 3 things I would do heads & cam.

TB & Plenum do pretty much nothing to a car that is not using some sort of FI.
