Default 03 Cobra rear wing mounting

I bought my 03 Cobra used and it did not have a rear wing. Was this a factory option or was my car wreaked and cheaply put back together. It did not show a wreak in its carfax. I have however bought a cherry used cobra wing an was wondering if anyone makes a template to mount it.

The spoiler was a option from the factory. Does your rear trunk deck lid have holes in it or plugs in the holes? If so the owner before you might have took the wing off and sold it to make some money. If the deck lid is smooth with no holes you prob have a spoiler delete option from the factory.

Not sure about Mustangs, but on my previous Acura RSX, a lot of guys were putting the 05/06 lip spoiler on their 02-04 trunk lids with two long strips of 3M double sided tape and it held extremely solid. Avoided the problem of having to drill into the trunk lid.

Just my .02
