Default Recommend me a good 700HP clutch

Just bought a '04 Cobra, the previous owner never changed the clutch out so it may be stock. I've got a Kenne Bell 2.8 and 616rwhp. I've done some research, but every post I see generally is below 500HP, so it doesn't really apply to me.

This car might see the track 10 times during my ownership. Its going to be mostly daily driven, so my goal is a strong, long lasting clutch with stock feel. I had a Spec Stage 3 in my Z28 and I HATED it, so Spec is out. I'm thinking McLeod twin disc, but I'm not sure which one. What would also need to get replaced with the clutch? I'm used to hydraulic clutches, so I'm not sure whats up with these cables yet.

I'm just trying to get some numbers together now.. I'm in Iraq for another 6 months, so the car won't be driven.. I'd just like to get everything in order so I don't have any downtime when I get back.

My spec 3+ (not the reg. stage 3) works fantastic, and I'm pushing out a lot more tq and hp than you are...

DD >600whp?
just change to clutch set up and resurface the flywheel. only other thing to change or just check is the plastic quadrant to see if its crack or deteriorating.

I am running a Center force with a Fidianza Aluminum Flywheel (Steel Replaceable insert) with a Ford Racing Throw out and Pilot Bearing. I have no problems with my Kenne Bell, 538 RWHP and 4:10 gears. The Center Force has a patented weight technology which applys more clutch pressure as rpms spin up but the pedal feel is awesome. You don't need two feet

SPEC if you don't care about your feet.

DFX is the best single disc clutch around. PERIOD. If you must run a twin plate (which you don't need to) then go with the RST McLeod at your power level.

Thats funny. Actually it is sweet to be rolling along about 30 mile an hour or so and smash the throttle and the back end breaks loose.

But, I just had a set of 3:73 put back together in a second case that I'm putting back in. 4:10's just make you short shift every gear with that HP.

thats awesome, i just couldnt imagine having that type of gearing/blower setup, that would be intense... i have traction issues with the stock 3.55's!!
