Default slugish 2nd and 3rd help

Heres a little backround that might possibly help. I just pick up the car 01 cobra from WA it had 11.5k on it. Im now the 3rd owner of it...first owner was 64 and put 9k on it...2nd owner was 54 and put the other 2k on motor. Now when i first drove the car it was very peppy and responsive then I drove it back down the coast to LA it now has 13k miles. On the way home i did at one point have the gas light illuminate for about 5 miles. I filled with injector cleaner and the Navy exchange gas which might have some water in it. Everything on the car is still stock. When im pulling in 2nd or 3rd the car seems to just drag and feels like i lost most of the peppy/responsiveness. I have no charts or tune to prove this or im just going crazy and im used to the car now. But my ? being seeing that this car has sat alot more than drivin what are some of the basic things i can replace to help this car out with the issue. im not talking exhaust and all that i know what i want to do for that im asking about rubber stock parts that like to fail or get worn like motor mounts fuel filters ect. All advice is welcome and im going to form a list of things to start replacing, like my factory plugs etc. Thank you all for your time. Oh and one more question when my car is in gear and at idle i hear a faint constant squeak when i put the clutch in the squeak goes away does that sound like a old belt or pully needing to be lubed? Again sorry for the long write up this car has been sitting and im very new to the 4.6 motor world. Thank you

sorry about that yea i fill up with 91 everytime. im going to throw in some additive to get rid of the water if any and a octane booster in. i have about a half tank left when it gets lower ill drop some injector cleaner in again. as far as the bearing going out is that sometime i can change myself or will that require a shop.

Hi,

I would replace all plugs, gas filter, drain gas and replace with reliable 93 octane if possible. Absolutely no additives unless advised by a Ford Mechanic.

i would take it to a shop and have them replace the whole clutch because they will have to take the whole thing out always and it will cost you from about 250 dollars maybe more either way you go
