N/A with mods vs Vortech
I know this has probably been beaten into the ground, but here's the deal: I basically want a fun weekend car that will not be my DD. I have a 1996 Cobra with 74k miles... It is very nice/clean and the engine is completely stock minus a K&N filter and Magnaflow exhaust. I am mostly happy with the power, but I am exploring options.
So what are you thoughts? SC and pay that $4k for wicked power? Or do some gears/headers/UD pullys/and something else for a little less $, but still some decent power....
I'm especially interested in the people who initially went NA only to realize they should have gone SC...what is your advice?
Thanks guys

btw theres a thread on the forums a how to get a full supercharger kit for $1500.
i think the only used item is the headunit and if worst comes to worse you can get it rebuilt for ~$400.
anyone that buys full kits from the manufacturer has alot of money and doesn't care or is a sucker.

blower all the way. headers and gears will help out but not like a s/c. udp are a waste of money imo from my personal testing with them.
Ok guys, thanks for the info...I was secretly hoping that someone would say, 'hell no, NA is perfect!' but alas....FI is probably the only real way to make power...and the associated headaches that come with it are just part of the game I suppose.
SO $1500 for a kit? Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeely....well, any and all info would be very appreciated.
Thanks
