<IMG src=smileys/smiley10.gif border="0">Well people it happened today.I am now the proud owner of a 2003 Silver Metallic 10th anniversary Cobra.Man what a trip even though I was not able to put it thru it's paces properly since the salesman was with,I got enough out of it to know there is something special about this Beast.The only word that can describe it is WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want that same color too. hey just remember as much fun as it is, be sure to break it in, ya dont wanan even here the storys i have bout guys who didnt break theres in long enough or not at all. well anyway congrats and be safe

i hear break in periods are pretty unnecessary anymore, but if soit's merely500-1000 miles...so in short...id like to see a story of what happens when you dont

Make sure to check the oil around 1500k...I burnt a full quart "breaking in". Checked again at 3k and didn't burn a drop.

Thanks for the kind words "speed" and the advise from everyone else.I am picking it up this coming Saturday and will try and send pics if I can figure it out and keep you postedduring the break in period,but the last vehicle I bought "Expedition" Can you tell I like Fords?<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">,the recomendation was to vary speeds for the first 500 miles and not run at any constant speeds for that period.Go for it "speed" and you will know what I felt.</P>
