4.10 Speedometer adjustment?
I just had a 4.10 rear put in my '99 Cobra, from the stock 3.27, how or what can I get installed to get the speedometer to read accurately?
Also I just installed some new front brake pads that I bought from Advanced Auto Parts and now the right front pads are rattling when I am going down the road.
Any suggestions on either one of the issues? Thanks

Tuner
you need to get a programmer, theyre expensive but definately worth the money. the one i like is the hypertech hyperpac, you can put in every mod you do and it will adjust your tune to run its best or however you want it. it will correct your speedo whether you change gears tires or whatever may set off the speedometer. this certain tuner also has a dyno on it and will tell you how much horsepower you have along with other dyno numbers, it also records 1/4 times and has a tree simulator. theyre $500 in jegs but its the best of the best. a diablosport will also do most of these features and i have read in musclemustangs fastfords that they prefer diablosport over any other tuner. but its all preference on what features you want/need
hope this info helped you out!

another question
Ok, I saw what you were talking about. It is $379 in Summit. Also what do you know about a site or place called speedometer services. They told me about the computer programmer option but they also told me about a cable linkage that could be run from the shifter to the transmission that would display the correct speed limit. Also does the computer programmer display the speed on the programmer or the speedometer itself?
Also any suggestions on those brakes? Thanks for your help.

There are speed calibrators also, theyre around $100. which i find pretty odd to pay that much when you can get a programmer for a little more buck but will do so much more than adjust your speedo. another way to look at it is that over a period of time the programmer pretty much pays for itself, it improves gas mileage really well.
for the brakes, check the anti-rattle clips on the brake pads they may need to be adjusted
