Default New to SVT

Hey guys!
I have not been on here in awhile! I left the Mustang world for an SUV and god was I not happy haha. I had an 06 GT that was modded with mostly suspension work and wheels. I am going Monday to pick up my new to me 2004 Cobra. It has 30k on the clock and just looks beautiful. I have always wanted a Terminator. I graduated the year they came out and I have been drooling over those cars since I was 18. I will finally be an owner! So what are some of the basic first few mods that can be done? I am happy to be back!

Here let me help you out here:

So you don't get wheel hop, which can destroy your IRS:

~IRS Brace
~IRS Bushings
~Good Street Tire

First Power Adders:

~Intake
~Midpipe (Skip this if you want longtubes in the future)
~Catback
~BF 2.76 Upper Pulley (Requires a Dyno Tune, Do not use a sh*tty canned tune)
~BF Idler

Other Mods:

~Head Cooling Mod (supposed to help prevent the dreaded Head Tick)
~Springs (I think H&Rs are the best)
~CC Plates
~Full Length Subframes

I buy all my stuff from lethalperformance.com

They have the biggest selection of parts for are cars and they have A+ Customer service.

Hope this helps

Yeah, me too. The lack of cooling to the back left cylinders causes the tick sound I hear when idling at operating temperature.

From what I read the EvenFlow Gen II kit is the easiest to install and the most efficient--costs $120

It's on the lethal performance website he suggested.

Ford does not honor the head swap anymore (at least on the 99-01 Cobra's), so this is going to be my next mod without a doubt.

Why would Ford put an engine out that has a blatant design flaw such as this????
