Default 98 vs 99 Cobra

Besides the body style what are the differences in these
two Cobras?

I am looking at both and need to make up my mind before next
week.

99 Had the IRS. It wasn't very good in the 99 if I remember right, but can be strengthened with basic modifications. The 98 still had a solid rear axle. Engine is the same I believe?

I'm sure the engines are different in a few ways, for one the upper intake manifold is different, just search online I'm sure its easy to find

The 98 uses the B heads that make 305HP and the 99 uses the C heads that make like 320HP.

Engine is very different, i think the bottom end is the same but like ^ said they use Early C heads as opposed to the 98s swirl port B heads, The Cs are tumble port heads, They have a different intake manifold and cams as well, the cams have very slight differences but they are different. While its not a drastic change like the GTs from 98 to 99, Well it is a pretty drastic change but the power levels don't increase THAT much. Also as previously stated the 99 has IRS the 98 has an SRA. Both are 8.8 28 spline, they claimed 31 spline in the 99s i belive (i know they did in the 01s) but they are 28 spline.

Yea, that's about all the differences, I'm personally a sn-95 over an edge person, so basically go with whichever one has the better price, millage, and is in better condition.
