ok sorry guys but new to 4.6 is it norm for the motors to rattle and knock ewhen cold its 20 degrees here and when u first start car small tick from front of motor and low knock from back at bell housing as soon as car warm ups all goes away and motor sounds great just do not know if this is norm my wife drive subaru wrx sti and i know these allum motors are not same as cast motor so any help i thank u n advance

didnt listen to the video, but knocking when cold is not normal, it could be a tick, but a true knock (due to rotating ***. / bearing) would not get better.

 

might add to goes away when reved only does it at idle

Well it's definitely not normal, lol... And it sounds like a bottom end knock... Not a head tick

 

any ideas y it goes away after warmed up it kinda has me stumped
