Default FR500 Rims

Hey guys, I have a set of FR500 rims that i ordered for my last mustang before i got the cobra. They are 17" silver and they are deep dish (10.5in) in the back and regular (9in) in the front. My question is will the deep dish in the back fit with 315s or will it hit because of the IRS? I put the rims on but i couldnt let it down because they have no tires on them. Do any of you have deep dish rims in the back with 315s?

Mike

Mike you should be fine!! You might have to buy the MM IRS bolts...AM sells them, simple to install, use the MF discount to save 6%!...link http://www.americanmuscle.com/maximu...ame-bolts.html

Yea, I ran them for a week and they are worse then my stock tires! Just go with some nittos or BFgoodrich.

No!! The heights of those nearly the same!!

245/45-17 = 25.67" diameter

315/35-17 = 25.62" diamter

(side note: 275/40-17 = 25.59") ....Info from Nitto web site!! GL....Tim

FYI: the Nitto 245's look good on a 9" wheel! will post pic on my old Fox tomorrow!

how come you want to go a 245 on a 9" wheel? AM recommends the 275 on the front.

not saying you have to get what they say but just wondering. I have the 9"/10.5" with 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 respectively

i got the sumitomo's and they may be on the loud side. but i dont need a high performance tire like a Nitto or BF. not to mention the prices of those lol. i dont plan on ripping on the car with my "nice shoes" on lol

plus i have not had a "good" tire before so i cant tell a big differance.
