Default T56 Shifter ?

I have the short throw shifter in my Cobra.

What options do I have if I want a taller shifter?

Do I have to buy a whole new shifter or can I just buy a
handle and install?

A taller handle? Yeah, just get a new handle and install it.

I hated all the options that were out there. I am 6'2" which is alittle tall but not too tall and by the time I move my seat back and recline the reach to my shifter was too far. I had a B&M short shifter but I made my own custom "s" shaped shifter to move my shift **** not higher but about 5" back. Now my shoulder does not come off seat when I shift.

Does it matter what type of shifter is in my car?Does it matter what brand shifter is in my Cobra?

I would love to find a medium length shifter that would bolt
right in......

I've bolted my Hurst & Steeda Tri-Ax handles to my Pro 5.0 shifter...Most companies use the "stock" bolt spacing on the handles...

If you still have the "stock" handle, test it!

...What shifter is currenty in the car?
