Default tire size

does anyone know the largest size tire i can get on the 17x9 wheels? I have the car lowered 1.5 and I want to fill the gap between the tire and the fender. maybe a spacer as well?

i was told you could get the nitto 555 DR's in a 315 on a stock wheel...

I would go with 295 and play it safe.. I just ordered 315 MT ET Streets and i am mounting them to my new 10.5" wheels...

tim, are you running 9" or 10.5" wheels on the back? did you keep it 275 in the front?

I'm running 285's on 17x10.5" wheels. The 285's were on my 17x9s before i switch them off.
295's are for 18" wheels.

Tim is running 10.5" on the rear and I believe he has 275's up front.

275's up front with Nitto 555's & 10.5" out back...If I had to do it all over again, I would have just mounted the 315's on the 9" wheel! ...Nitto 315 DR's run a little small on a 10.5" wheel IMO...

I myself wouldn't go any bigger than a 285 on a 9" wheel. It's suggested that if you want a 295 or 305 you should get a 10" wheel. I'm sure Jazzer will chime in shortly and yell at you. haha

The NITTO 555R 315's are BARELY wider than their 275's. This ONLY holds true to those SPECIFIC tires. Even the 315 NITTO NT01'S are a hell of a lot fatter.
