Default muffler delete question...

hey guys, a little out of my area here as i have a 10 camaro ss, however my bro has a 01 SVT, and i have done a muffler delete on my car as an inexpensive way to add some sound (pretty much the same as a SLP LM1), and he was wondering if the same could be done on his car, and if the the sound would be good and louder as well. so i am here to post that question. has anyone done it on these cars, and if so, what was the result? thanks!

I would think no mufflers would sound absolutely horrible, just buy your choice of mufflers and even with a shop installing it it wouldn't cost more than 200
