Why not drill and tap some holes and bolt in a mild steel plate. I think i will try this myself.

Wow...those are probably the WORST tig welds I've ever seen. And this is a company who SELLS this fabrication?

I admit that thin of material is extremely difficult to weld if the weldor is inexperienced. But for a serious business who sells this work and claims durability and dependability...it's just ridiculous. I've seen kids in training weld better than that. Send your chet to me! I'll weld it properly! I could cut a pop can in half, weld it back together, fill it full of soda and drink it with no leaks! Helps to be 6G certified by the Coast Guard. =) Amateurs!
