Im having trouble with my 03 cobra. At idle its dumping a ton of fuel all I smell is the fuel, and under load at about 3000 rpm the car spits and sputters until about 4000 rpm. MAF??? It has basic bolt on upgrades nothing major.

 

Please tell me if you have an upper pulley done you have a dyno tune on this thing?

 

yes the upper pulley is done, its been on a dyno but the programer is no longer on the car. so I assume its running at its factory settings

 

Have you check for codes??

 

Yes the only code that comes back is that the left bank is running lean

 

if you assume its running on factory settings i would baby it to a tuner asap and get a tune. its much cheaper to get a tune than buy a new motor!

 

+1 if its messin up no reason to beat on it at all....get you a good tune then go have your fun....

 

I see your in IL, take you car to either Kurgan Motorsports or SuttonHP and get that thing tuned. Untill then stay out of boost!
