Default Pro-Chambers on a 99 worth it? Hard to install?

well right now I am looking into putting an H-pipe on my 99 cobra, right now it just has some sort of flowmaster catback (Mufflers are black and just say flowmaster), and so far from listening to exhaust clips and reading online I really kinda like the tone and sound that MAC Pro-chambers put out, But my only concern is are the worth it and what you guys think of them?

My state also requires emission testing, and I wana know how hard it is to put the pro-chambers in, and how hard it would be to swap the stock one back on come emission time....kinda wondering if i could pass emission w/o CATS, doubt it but hey lol

And what else is needed for installing (O2 sensor delete?), + would they bolt right onto stock headers and a catback?

I've dealt with Mac products in the past and their crap. IMO get yourself a nice x-pipe such as Magnaflow, Bassani, or Dr Gas and lose the flowmasters

Yea, I am not a fan of flowmaster either lol but they came with the car so for now it's easier to just leave them until i can save up some cash to get something nicer.

As far as pipes go, i want a nice low throaty tone, that still sounds great when you get on it, im not concerned with performance mainly that impressive low tone...which would you say is going to get my closest to what im looking for? i've tryed youtube for ideas, but i just feel it dosn't give the sound justice on my crappy headphones

A x pipe will not give you the sound your looking for. 3 of my stangs has had MAC o/r h pipes and mac muffers I never had any problems with none of them and they didn't put a dent in my pocket.

there is nothing wrong with the quality of a Mac Prochamber. You will not be disapointed with the sound of it. OMO it is the best mid pipe sound out there. And if you do not have cats on your it will not pass emisions

Yea, I have had MAC exhaust on previous cars also, and i really liked the sound, just the brackets that held the tips on were junk, but simple $5 fix lol

Does anyone know if there is any common problems with the install, i would need an o2 delete correct? and would that need a tune?
