Default Possibly New Cobra Owner, Need Opinions!!!

So I've been looking for a Mustang GT for a while and came across a 1998 Mustang SVT Cobra, has 125k miles, 03 Cobra rims, and magnaflow exhaust. Red with Black rims. Owner is selling for 5500, and car looks well taken care of. Does this sound like a good deal?

if u test drive it without him get into 3rd gear and punch it hard, a little after 3k rpms (3250 to be exact) you should feel a lil power surge, if you don't the imrcs need to be either cleaned or deleted, besides that i'd say check for the normal wear and tear

Ohhh ok ok. my dad test drove it today and he said that it rode pretty well, no leaks, tires look like they need to be changed, clutch is still in good shape, and shifts pretty well. If i do buy it (which would possibly be this weekend) what should i do first?
