Default Which CAI do you run??

I got an 03 cobra with 2.81 pulley... as of right now I still have stock intake. Looking at different ones and reading about plastic vs metal and fender mount vs engine bay and this and that. Just trying to see what you all run and recommend.

I run the stock intake with a K&N 9inch cone filter, and it works just fine for me.

I would never do the style JLT that you have Tim, no offense. One of the dumbest places to place the maf sensor. JLT does make another intake with the "correct" maf placement, however.

What is wrong with the placement? And I am looking to replace the factory tubing.. looking for something a little easier on the eye..

Ideally, the maf should be as close to the throttle body as possible, not several BENDS away from it. The maf for the JLT in Tim's car is located in the fender. I don't know what the **** they were thinking when they made that. And plus, all a JLT intake is, is a some pieces of PVC piping and a couple of fancy couplers...

I take no offence MJF!!! ...I've had the intake on the car for 5 years now with no problems at all!!! ...CAI does have a nice clean look & is paint matched!! ...PVC Plastic dissipates the heat much better IMO...I'm now condering the JLT Ram air Kit for the '04 TR Ragtop OR I'll just go with another CAI...TR Cobra currently has the UPR set-up!
