Exclamation Check Engine Light is On

Well my check engine light came on today and I am assuming its because of the exhaust I put on the car. It has flowmasters with a BBK x pipe. I am guessing its the O'2 sensor. What can I do to by-pass this to get that annoying orange dummy light off. Its on a 96 cobra. Please let me know, Thanks!

If you have no cats, you will need to turn off the rear O2 sensors...and clear the codes!

...Try reading the codes! (then clear them 1st before you do anything else) ...all pipes clamped up well?

Yes.... Everything is solid underneath the car.. My light went off now as well.... Not sure what that was all about.... But if it comes back on again, I will get the codes checked

Go to Autozone and borrow a scanner. Btw, I would say just spend the $400 and get a tuner. Worth it's weight in gold in a long run.

The back o2 sensors can be turned off in your tune if you would ever go with an O/R pipe.

If it comes back on just use a piece of duct tape to cover the light haha
