Default 03-04 IRS help

whenever i make a right turn the rear end makes a thunking sound. it has been gradually getting louder but i couldn't tell where it was coming from. it is on the left side and i just want to know what to look for. it sounds like a loose wheel but it is not.

Would the 1/2 shafts make noise on a independent rear when they are going bad? Kinda like on a front wheel drive car when a 1/2 shaft goes bad and you turn it makes a clunk clunk sound. you get what I'm trying to say?

i bought this thing from MPS and have had nothing but issues. the diff siezed up on the higway at like 70 mph, i am wondering if that has something to do with it. it supposedly has new halfshafts in it. i was thinking maybe the hub.

i have had it for over a year. they claim to have a 90 day warranty on all parts but that is an outright lie. it took a JAG lawyer to get them to replace the diff.

well, figured it out when i had the new wheels put on. the old lugs were stripped and couldn't be tightened all the way. luckily nothing happened except me being annoyed.
