I bought 2 1997 SVT Cobras last weekend. I believe one may be a Saleen S-281 but I am not sure. It has the body kit and the S-281 stickers but who really knows. Anyways the "Saleen" had a bad bushing in the rear control arm.

So I took off the upper and lowers. I want to replace all the bushings but I cannot find a match. They are definately aftermarket but JEGS and SUMMIT were not much help. A set a bought from SUMMIT the holes were to small for the bolts to pass through the bushings.

Can someone recommend exactly which set of uppers AND lowers I will need. A link with the correct product number would be great.

There both real good lookin..i would guess the Saleen is a clone

 

What would make you guess this?

 

Saleen cobras are pretty rare which suprises me that someone would take of the saleen wheels for a set of bullits. Did the saleen cobras come with a diff hood?
