Default funny smell

I just changed my plug about 2 weeks ago but just started getting a stinky smell out of the exhaust the past few days. Im not sure if its from the weather (went from like 85 degrees to in the 40s) or if maybe its the plugs? Smells like its burning oil but i checked the oil level and it seems fine. No CEL s have gone off or anything i just started smelling it if im stopped at like a drive threw or something sitting. I think i gapped the plugs around .045 stock i believe was .054? Could this be the problem or maybe its just the weather? Any ideas are appreciated.

also its not the gas, i run 93 octane and have been threw 2 tanks from different stations to be sure.

I'm not sure what the problem is...but you have a problem with that GAP!! ...Gap those plugs around 0.032" to 0.034"

ya your gap is a bit big could be mistaking it for unburnt fuel

45 seems like a bit much for a FI car.

I think the correct gap is somewhere around .032

Thats a fuel additive normally used with methanol/alcohol. Since these two fuels have no scent or lubricating properties, you mix those with the fuel to identify it and prevent cylinder wash down. Sure your not just running rich now?

i dropped the gap to .032-.034 i still seem to smell it... i may be weird but i think ill just have someone look at just in case. Also havent had a chance to even look, i dont hear any leaks but the strength of the smell could just be a leaky exhaust since i had issues before so it could just be leaking exhaust up to my window and making me get such a strong smell:P

Does the car still have cats? If so and you have a leak before the cats that may be what you are smelling.
