Default 03-04 cobra 70K miles too high?

looking to get my first ford. been a GM man and recently a nissan man. but ive always wanted a terminator. question is i found one for 16g with 73k miles. checked out autocheck and it had a score of 90. is the mileage too high IE im not sure what the lifespan is on the 4.6L esp the modified ones fitted with the eatons for the cobras. i just dont wanna rush into getting one and then it start to fall apart on me ect. I found another that only has 11k miles on it but there asking 26000 for it and thats alittle out of my price range. any advice would be appreciated. any of yall in the south east arkansas region?

it all depends on the mods. I think if its a bone stock cobra you might be fine. Someone could have just used it as a daily driver and put 10k miles a year on it. But to me where the miles seem high is if it has pulleys and other mods where there might be a hint of beating on the motor for 70k miles. A well taken care of mod motor can last forever as many have said before, look at taxis and police cars that run over 400k miles.

Welcome!!! ...A lot really depends on the condition & the mods that have been done to the car! ...Since you're not a Ford guy, I have a Ford dealer look over the car (or find someone local that knows there cars).....GL

Umm lol these cars can run for quite a while, don't be hesitant... 73k isn't even close to being high milage, I will never understand why anyone thinks it is.

03 is 7 years old thats barely over 10k miles a year.... I've put probably north of 30k miles on a combination of 2 veichles this year...

I'd say those miles are average for a daily driver. You just have to decide whats right for you. A car to mod and enjoy or a low mileage car that is closer to stock and clean.
