its the nickname SVT gave the car when it was under development. i don't know why they called it terminator specifically...if it was because of the movie or because it will terminate anything in its class or what but it stands up to its name.

 

dosent "terminator" refer only to the 03/04's

Now why do people call it a Termi?

 

im assuming they named it the terminator because like arnold, the machine will destroy anything in its path on the street. It lives up to its name so why not continue using it.

They nicknamed the project Terminator because it was suppose to terminate the camaro/firebird vs. mustang rivalry.
