Default cobra cam swap?

Anyone out there done or paid to get a cam swap done on the 4 valve. if you have done it yourself how hard did you find it? I have done it on the 2 valve so i know what im getting myself into. if you paid someone to do it how much did it cost you to get it done? Also what kind of cams did you go with and what were the gains you saw?

well idk how much help i will be but i was basically minutes away from doing them on my old cobra but decided to sell it to upgrade lol...but it is more of a pain then a 2v but not by much!! its the same idea just gotta do it 2 more times!! the biggest change though is gettin the valve cover and timing cover off because you will have to unbolt the driver side motor mount and jack it up to get the valve cover off!...idk bout pricing cause i do all my own work but i imagine it wont be cheap...the cams i was gonna get were the crower stage 2 i think they were like 1400 dollars...cams give you nice gains and sound but for just alittle more money you can sc it with a cheap centrifugal and get way more power!

I can't say how much labor costs you will incur, because I had my cams put in when I did my whole engine build, so it didn't really add to the cost. I got Stage 3 Comp Cams (106460's). On the baseline tune, my cams added a good 40 rwhp over what my old Sean Hyland Regrinds made. But remember, this is with BIG boost. I can't say that it will add anything close to that on an Eaton set up...

They are just single chambers. They don't have the same restrictive design that the super 40's have. I would never run any of the flowmaster mufflers except for the single chambers.
