Need advice on '01 Cobra purchase

The 275/40/17's have the same sidewall height and overall diameter as the OE 245/45/17's and are about an inch wider. I guess I could see a little more tire under there too, but if it's good enough for SVT I can live with it.

The motor could use a good scrub. It has a K&N Air Intake, but other than convering that up, anything to be careful of? All I've ever done to keep engine compartments clean is Simple Green and judicious use of high pressure water. Appreciate any tips.

Finding all kinds of new stuff! I left a message with the 2nd owner(I'm #4) to find out about what's been done or modified. Owner #3 did the exhaust, but didn't know much else. Pro 5.0 shifter, '03-'04 wheels I think, what else?
