ok on my local craigslist some guy posted for sale a 03 cobra convertible and this is what his post says:

"I have a black 2003 convertable cobra mustang with 126k miles on it it is running and in great condition it needs a new tires thats it needs couple things here and there tunned but it is sold as is."

Ok so it says a running and great condition. I know a few things here and there could be anything but what do you guys think. I mean should i jump on this.

 

Find out what it need, couple things hee and there could be bearing or just spark plugs

 

if it is small stuff would it be a steal? How are these cars with high mileage like that. The only ones I ever see close to me are with like 22k miles but ppl want like 26k for them. so when i saw 5k i was speechless.

 

I'd suggest that you find out more about the condition of the car, how many owners, etc,etc. Thats quite a bit of miles on the engine already.

 

was it drag raced 122k out of the 126k miles?! You def. need to find out more....

what!? 5K dollars!? something has to be messed up or this guy needs the money bad!! ya be very careful with something like that!! so many things can go wrong!! let us know what you find out!

 

ok im gonna call him soon...although just for the record sometimes ppl need money bad or need to get rid of it quick with nothing wrong with car. My friend bought an 07 or 08 california special with a paxton supercharger installed from some marine for $5800. Im not bull****in. I drove him there to buy it. The marine was leavin in like less than a week for family emergency than deployment so he was desperate to sell. oh ya only 22k miles. I was so jealous, still am. but i will call soon its only 9 and i dont wanna wake someone up.

 

I wish you didn't tell me that, highly jealous lol. I'd almost feel guilty of robbing the guy for getting such a nice for about a 1/4 of what the car should be worth. IF true, your friend got the best buy of the Century in the car world. Don't think anyone could top thatg buy.
