Alright so I decided to buy the mgw short throw shifter for my t56. While I have the shifter off I'm gonna change my tranny oil. I have 2 questions 1: how many qts of oil will I need and 2: I'm gonna go RP brand but what weight do I use? Thanks in advance

 

Not sure on your question, but wanted to add you should get the mgw inner dust boot, and cobra bob's shifter gasket!

I need to get one. I've missed 3rd a few times with my B&M.

 

I just pulled the Pro 5.0 that was in my Cobra out, and put in the Steeda Tri-Ax I had in my 95 and wow it feels so much better. To me the Pro 5.0 shouldn't even qualify as a short shift, the shifts were long as hell, but then again I got overly used to the Steeda, so much better.

 

^^^Hummm, I have a Pro 5.0 in the DSG Cobra & a Steeda Tri-Ax in the TR Cobra...and I have to tell you I like the Pro 5.0 much better!!!

I guess every shifter is different!
