I know this semi breaks forum rules however this is the only forum that I'd have a shot at doing this but I was wondering if any of you guys would want to trade your IRS for my solid rear axel. Previous owner put this thing on the car and I'd really like to go back to IRS if possible.

A buddy of mine is in the process of putting a SRA in his 04 cobra, he already has the SRA but if your interested in purchasing na IRS let me know.

Idk if your going to have much luck here. Try svtp, always people doing trades and selling IRS's on there. Do you have a local mustang forum you could try?

Yeah I'm interested as long as he doesn't ask an arm and a leg for the thing.

Sorry no local Mustang forums, not many local Cobras to start with. That I know of there is one true 5.0 Cobra locally, 2 or 3 96-98 Cobras, 2 other 99/01 Cobras, and a couple of terminators. All the other "Cobras" are GTs or V6s.

Main thing I'm trying to fix is my stance problem. Car has a very awkward stance. The SRA came out of an 02 GT that was lowered, and my engine is an 01 WAP block as the original TEKSKID was pulled just before I got the car, somehow the previous blew the motor. As a result the front end sat extremely high. I lowered the car but it still sits slightly nose up. I don't really wanna lower it any more because as I learned in my 5.0 you start scrapping everything and it's dog when you drop much lower than where I'm at now.

you might need to sell your rear springs and get something alittle bit higher....also you can take the spring isolaters out of the front which will get you alittle more lower!!!
